We've Got You Covered!

Sulky Insurance

Free insurance against damage to race bikes incurred in an accident during a race or warm-up mile at an MHHA contracted pari-mutuel track or a Michigan county fair.

Third Party Liability Insurance

Access to affordable coverage which protects against certain claims alleging bodily injury or property damage due to negligence involving Standardbred racehorses owned by MHHA members.

On-Track Accident Insurance

Pari-Mutuel Tracks
As negotiated on your behalf by MHHA, On-Track Accident and Disability coverage is provided at MHHA pari-mutuel tracks. MHHA shares in the cost of this coverage.
County Fair Tracks
The MHHA provides accident and disability coverage at Michigan county fairs on race days.

Fire and Disaster Insurance

Free coverage at MHHA contracted pari-mutuel tracks ~ up to
$ 15,000 per horse and $ 7,500 per owner for equipment
(@ $1,500 per horse).

Groom Insurance

Contributes a portion of the cost of health insurance for grooms and second trainers employed by trainers who are MHHA members.
