Training Hours:

Hazel Park Raceway’s track is open for training on Thursdays before (starting at 8:00am) and after the qualifying races until 2:00pm (horses must be off the grounds by 2:30pm), and on race days from 4:00pm-6:30pm. If you plan on training at Hazel Park Raceway these days, you must notify the race office at (248) 398-1000 (Ext. 1) before you come. Note that if you plan on bringing in horses to train on race days (Friday, Saturday or Monday), you must confirm with the race office before noon on Friday that stall space is available.

If your horse is coming for training on Tuesday or Thursday, you must use either barn #4 or the West side of barn #3. If your horse is coming in for training on race days, be sure to let the race office know so they can assign stalls near your horses that are racing those nights. If there are any changes, you will be notified at the stable gate. On race days, the North gate opens at 2:00pm..

*** Notify the Hazel Park Race Office in advance if you plan to bring horses to train ***
